Mamoun Abdulmenan, Farouk Jamal, Suman Meah, Mohammed Suman, Shafiq Al-Islam, Masoud Shamsulhaq, Abu Hussein Ahmed and Muteer Al-Rahman were executed in the capital, said an Interior Ministry statement carried by the news agency.
The men were convicted of robbing a warehouse and killing the security guard, Hussein Saeed Mohammed Abdulkhaleq, an Egyptian national.
Three other men were sentenced to prison terms of varying lengths, the statement said.
Meanwhile, two Saudis, convicted killers on death row, were executed in Tabuk on Friday, another statement of the Interior Ministry said. Farhan bin Awad Al-Atwi, was convicted for stabbing to death two Saudi brothers Hamoud bin Eid Al-Atwi and Saud bin Eid Al-Atwi, following a dispute. Ahmad bin Awdah Al-Atwi, the second man to be executed, was convicted of shooting to death Muhammad Tahir Khan, an Afghan national, during a dispute, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
