Police discovered that the victim and the suspect, both of African origin, were partners in the manufacture and distribution of illicit liquor. Police tracked the suspect to a desert location in Renya governorate and found him disguised as a woman, wearing abaya. Police found several lashes and cuts on his body suggesting a physical fight between him and the victim.
The suspect confessed to interrogators that he stabbed his business partner to death following a dispute between them.
