The rising star does not have any family history of performing arts and her parents never planned a career as an actress. Her family has not even attended any of her stage events, she said.
Seham’s first opportunity to appear on the screen was when she was offered a role in the serial “Desert Sharks” directed by Ala Al-Sheikhani, whom she greatly admires. The actress also appreciated the encouragement she received from actors Nasser Al-Qasbi and Abdullah Al-Sedhan while she played a role in a “Tash” episode lately.
She said that she agreed to take the lead role in a planned Saudi film, but she did not give details as the behind-the-scene preparations for the film were yet to be completed. In her view, Arab films did not handle the current social issues in a professional style.
She said she had passed the initial stage of acting successfully and could now enact any role she felt suitable. She said despite her short experience of 18 months in acting, she had made a popular base with eight serials to her credit.
