A judge last month ordered Mayweather to turn himself in on Friday.
But Mayweather’s lawyers, his promoter-manager and court officials aren’t saying when or how he’ll do that.
His lawyer has said she was considering asking the judge to reconsider.
The 34-year-old Mayweather admitted attacking his ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris, and while two of their children watched in September 2010 at Harris’ home.
Police say good behavior and work time could knock up to 30 days off Mayweather’s sentence.
But jail time will limit training for a possible May 5 date for a fight against an as-yet unnamed opponent.
