Saudi enterprises thriving on diverse high-tech support

They made their observations at the Telecommunications & ICT Exhibition and Conference (TELSA) in Riyadh.
The event is taking place with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and in the presence of a number of officials from Mobily, the conference’s official telecom partner.
After the opening ceremony, Abdul Rahman Al-Oraini, adviser to MCIT, toured Mobily’s booth, where he was greeted by Abdulaziz Al-Tamami, Mobily’s COO, and Marwan Al-Ahmadi, CBO at Mobily.
Al-Tamami then gave a brief on Mobily’s leading services which operate based on advanced technology and high-speed connection and which are dedicated to the business sector to facilitate finishing multitasks in very little time.
Abdul Rahman Al-Arini, CIT ministry adviser, in his opening speech, stressed on the Kingdom’s eminent role in the establishment of several international organizations pertaining to the IT and telecommunications sector for more than half a century now.
He also praised the Kingdom’s government and its keenness to support the IT and telecommunications sector which in return reflected on the Saudi market and made it one of the most developed and advanced markets in the region.
Addressing the event, Al-Ahmadi assured that Mobily is very well aware of the rapid and constant development in the telecommunications industry in the world, and specifically in the Middle East — a reason why Mobily today is at the forefront of the regions’ telecom race track.
“Mobily is always keen to support the Kingdom’s technical events and therefore we did not hesitate to sponsor the TELSA Exhibition and Conference, a one of its kind in the Kingdom,” Al-Ahmadi said.
He then moved on to talk about the business sector, and explain the importance of this vital sector and the vital effect it has on the national economy.
“That is why at Mobily we are very keen to provide advanced telecom solutions that contribute actively in the shaping of the future of big companies as well as medium and small enterprises,” Al-Ahmadi added.
On the other end, Taher Al-Dabbagh, SVP SME & SoHo Sales, presented a case study titled “The Importance of Medium and Small Organizations’ support of the national economy.”
In his paper, he assured that these enterprises, complete the national economy’s cycle, and that big companies are dependent on them in many of their activities. Hence, the diversity of small and medium enterprises, gives the Kingdom’s economy a healthy dimension.
Al-Dabbagh also displayed a number of services which Mobily offers to medium and small enterprises like the (Enjaz ) service and the (Tele Presence) service — a service which enables subscribers to conduct several meetings from their offices from all around the world without the hassle of traveling, and two offices in both Riyadh and Jeddah, have been made available for this service.
The (My Office) service which provides subscribers with all the necessary equipment to launch a new business, through monthly premiums; in addition to full technical support around the clock.
