The expansion is in response to increased market demand for trucks and buses from MAN, a leading manufacturer of transportation vehicles in the Kingdom, according to a press release.
MAN Truck & Bus has enjoyed a rise in sales in Saudi Arabia, boosted by the exceptional growth in the Kingdom’s economy under the guidance of its wise leadership.
The inauguration took place in the presence of Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman Al-Ohaly, deputy minister for Transportation and Fahd Al-Tuwaijri, deputy governor of Technical & Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Germany Ambassador Dieter Haller and Austrian Ambassador Johannes Wimmer.
An agreement was also signed with the TVTC at the event in the presence HHA Managing Director Ali Husein Alireza and the TVTC deputy governor.
A group of TVTC graduates will receive technical and theoretical training on the maintenance of MAN trucks as well as preventive maintenance under the deal.
The training will also include detection of malfunctions and vehicle tracking systems.
The company set up the Saudi Vehicles Manufacturing Company in 2009.
Ali Alireza said: “Through this expansion, we seek to meet the increasing demand for various models of MAN trucks by different sectors in the Kingdom which are currently experiencing a high rate of growth under the guidance and vision of the country’s wise leadership. We are committed to offering a high quality of sales and after sales service and are focused on continuously supporting the services we provide to our distributors and partners in various sectors.”
