The aim of the transparency index is to monitor products and establishments to check their level of quality and help boycott poor quality products. Marks of trustworthiness will be awarded to quality products and businesses, according to a source in the CPS.
The CPS will monitor products, services, shops and companies for any kind of violations, fraud or exploitation of consumers. If any of them are found to be involved in any violation or fraud, action will be taken.
The products and services or businesses against which any monitoring agency takes legal action will be put on a blacklist.
On the other hand, the products, services or businesses conforming to quality specifications and marketing ethics will be listed as trustworthy.
Consumers will be warned against any product, service or business that fails to provide acceptable quality.
Any business involved in damaging the interests of consumers will have to publicly announce its mistakes and compensate its victims and also write an apology to the CPS, the source said.
The CPS will grant distinguishing marks for products and establishments that ensure quality specifications. The CPS will also mount pressure on businesses that offer poor quality products.
