Mobily’s sponsorship is part of the company’s initiative to promote and stimulate the innovative environment in different technical fields, and the current Google conference acts as a fertile ground for the minds of creative technical developers in Saudi Arabia, especially after the remarkable success of Google Arabia 2011.
Humoud Al-Ghobaini, SVP for PR and customer experience at Mobily, said the company is keen to provide the right environment for creative youths in order for them to be able to partake with their ideas and inventions, as well as discuss it with the specialists in the technical field and consequently take it to another level.
Al-Ghobaini added that Mobily recently held Mobily Developers’ Forum, which aimed to motivate developers to turn their ideas into unique applications that would enrich the overall mobile applications.
Google is issuing its second conference in Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Badir Program for Technology Incubation, which aims to create an interactive society for the IT pioneers and armatures by showcasing and discussing Google’s different technologies in YouTube and Chrome in addition to Android. This year’s conference is held in the presence of elite YouTubers from Saudi Arabia such as Fahad Al-Bitery, Omar Hussien, and Malek Najer.
