The campaign featured two-weeklong activities focused on social development, in addition to religious, cultural and sports activities and programs. Several senior officials of Qusaiba Center, including its President Fahd bin Radi Al-Radi and Qassim Education Department Director Abdullah Al-Rokyan attended the concluding session, held at a specially-erected tent.
Prince Faisal launched a number of development projects in the region at the session. He laid the foundation stone for three key projects at the center. These included Qusaiba branch municipality building, which is estimated to cost SR13 million, square for holding public events (SR5 million) and the first phase of the public park (SR1 million).
Prince Faisal also launched three schools for boys and the Sheikh Fahd Al-Owaida Mosque, which are estimated to cost a total of SR10 million each.
The governor also toured the pavilions of the exhibition held on the sidelines of the campaign. He was briefed on the major historical and archeological landmarks of the region.
