Memorizing Qur’an is part of Islamic religion and to fulfill this duty, the Hassan Abbas Sharbatly charitable organization has launched an innovative program of Qur’an memorization for children with special needs at their Qur’an memorizing institute.
The organization launched memorizing Qur’an through electronic device program under the supervision of Qur’an Association along with the traditional method of memorizing Qur’an.
The program targeted 400 students in the first phase including 250 boys and 150 girls with special modules specifically allocated for children with special needs.
Ibrahim Sharbatly, the deputy chairman of the organization, said learning through an electronic device is the best use of modern technology today.
He said the program will help students in learning Qur’an since it will simplify the process of memorizing and will help in development of e-learning which has become one of the most important tools of modern education.
He said there was need for such programs which will help students in memorizing the Qur’an. The new experiment of using electronic screens in classes was found to be very helpful.
Andullatif Nukaly, the program supervisor, said that the Sharbatly Qur’an memorizing institute launched this program of memorizing Qur’an using electronic devices under the supervision of the professors and teachers who are competent in Qur’an.
He said it will be very helpful for children with special needs to memorize Qur’an.
