On the other hand, the Eastern Province’s industrial power consumption rose by nearly 7.5 m MW in 2013, or 80 percent of the sector’s total consumption Kingdomwide, despite the fact that EP’s subscribers were not the highest.
On subscriber basis, the Central (Riyadh) Region had the biggest subscriber base of the industrial sector at 3,100 in 2013 compared to 2,901 in 2012, or an increase of 7 percent. The number of subscribers in the EP stood at 2,326 in 2013, the report said.
