KSA, Burkina Faso boost cooperation

RIYADH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman held talks here Tuesday with Burkina Faso President Rock Marc Christian Kabore to improve bilateral relations.
On the sidelines of the talks, a cooperation agreement on crime-fighting was signed in the presence of the two leaders by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and interior minister, and Minister for Territorial Administration and Decentralization and Homeland Security Simon Compaore.
The meeting was attended by Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mansour bin Miteb, minister of state, Cabinet member and advisor to the king; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, minister of the national guard; Adel Al-Toraifi, minister of culture and information, Adel Al-Jubeir, foreign minister; Zahir Al-Enzi, the Saudi ambassador to Burkina Faso; and a number of senior officials from both sides.
Later the king held a lunch in honor of Kabore at Al-Yamamah palace. The reception ceremony including the playing of the anthems of the countries. The king had earlier greeted various members of the delegation, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
