RIYADH: MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah teams grouping of over 5,000 players have been fighting it out over the last four weeks for the right to represent their camp in the grand final.
With the competition’s main prize of SAR 10,000 and cheerful support of thousands of viewers, the teams have been taking this rivalry seriously and the matches have showcased this with many close encounters.
South Village Warriors, Raja XI and Selicon XI have entered the finals, which will be played in the Al-Seif Camp.

In BACS camp, the standout team was South Village Warriors who have been unbeaten in the competition and claimed a famous victory on Sunday against the arch rivals BACS Zanbaz. They were in no mood to let go and restricted Zanbaz to only 120 off 20 overs. They achieved this score after 18 overs to be crowned Champions of BACS.
In Al-Seif, Raja XI qualified for the final with a last-over win over Thurman.
At Saudi Oger Camp, the hosts lost to Selicon XI in the final.
Surely there will be huge rivalry at camps as all teams wish their camp to become the next Champion of Riyadh. The final will be witnessed by for Indian player Irfan Pathan, who will coach the teams and handover the trophy along with SAR 7,000 cash prize to the winner.
