Panda Retail Company recently participated in Riyadh Municipality’s Eid Al-Fitr held under the directives of Prince Faisal bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh and chairman of Riyadh Development Higher Commission. Numerous activities were organized all over the capital to share the joyous event.
The activities were targeted at Panda stores’ visitors, particularity children and their families, who were given various gifts on the occasion.
Giveaways for children were handed out at different Panda stores in the capital while children took pictures as souvenirs.
The families expressed their thanks to the Riyadh Municipality and Panda Retail Company for this initiative held as part of Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, which put a smile on the children’s faces.
Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal, CEO, Panda Retail Company, said: “Panda is always keen to participate in Eid Al-Fitr festivities and share happiness with the people of Riyadh, considering it an integral part of its CSR policy.”
Earlier, Panda celebrated the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Fitr with children admitted in hospitals and gave them free shopping vouchers as part of its annual Eid program, Panda Eid Gifts.
The initiative, organized before Eid, aimed to bring joy to the lives of children who, because of their sickness, were not able to spend time with their families and relatives during the Eid celebrations. The vouchers enabled them to buy a number of products, including foodstuffs, clothes and electronics, at Panda stores all over the country.
Panda forms the retail division of the Savola group of companies. It is one of the largest retailers in the Middle East, catering to more than 400 million visitors every year across its different outlets — Panda, HyperPanda and Pandati — which offer a diverse range of high quality products that meet all the needs of the family at competitive prices.
