Tadweer: MCS new online program for better coordination

RIYADH: The Ministry of Civil Service has started a new online program, Tadweer, to exchange information about manpower, as also for better coordination among government departments.
The new electronic service, which can be accessed at https://www.mcs.gov.sa/Eservices/Pages/GServices18.aspx, is an important extension of other existing services within the government, including ‘Tawteeq’ (documentation) and ‘Tadqeeq’ (auditing).
“Tadweer will ultimately allow government departments to benefit from excess labor when there is a need for employees to transfer from one department to another. This facilitates redistribution of labor according to the active requirements of each department,” said Assistant Undersecretary for Re-Evaluation and Documentation Abedallah Al-Sana.
“This step will also provide opportunities for employees to search for new fields to work in or look for a work environment that better suits their tastes. It is expected that this will increase the efficiency of expenditure in each department by attracting the right expertise to the right government jobs,” Sana added.
Users of the Tadweer system must provide their resume, including their relevant qualifications and expertise, in the online portal, in order to be considered for a position.
The ministry is working on the technicalities of Tadweer, and is looking at its final set-up prior to its launch within all government departments.
Once launched, a coordinator will ensure the proper functioning of the system and the provision of a detailed user guide, according to Alhayat.
