SAUDI Rally Champion Abdullah Bakhashab, chairman of Jeddah Rally’s executive committee, headed the committee’s first meeting in which the rally’s work and execution plan was thoroughly reviewed. The rally will be held from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 in Al-Biraika area, north of Jeddah.

The rally has the support of Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed, who also heads the rally’s Higher Committee.  

The first official meeting for the rally was attended Brigadier General Faiz bin Mohammed Al-Shamrani from Jeddah Police Department, Brigadier General Faris Askar Al-Shaibani from Makkah Police Department, Major BadrAl-Suhaimi from Jeddah Traffic Department, Captain Aziz Al-Sulami, head of Khulais Traffic Department, Pilot Captain Ibrahim Al-Yazeedi from Makkah Aviation Security Base, Captain Abbas Zaidi from Jeddah Civil Defense Department, Jamaan Al-Zahrani, representative of Jeddah Governorate, Hamoud Al-Jabri, deputy director of Jeddah Rally, Mohammad Buqami from Jeddah Municipality, Abdullah Al-Zahrani from Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Khaled Al-Shiri from the Office of the General Presidency for Youth Welfare in Jeddah and Mohammad Al-Safh from Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and industry.

Bakhashab reviewed the arrangements for the rally, including the safety and security aspects related to the rally drivers and spectators.
