SYDNEY: Australian fast bowler will be the lead role in an upcoming Bollywood film “Unindian,” Pedestrian reported.

The romantic comedy will reportedly explore the lighter side of cross-cultural relationships and sees Lee star opposite Indian actress, Tannishtha Chatterjee, known best for her breakout role in the British feature film “Brick Lane.”

The film centers on Meera (Chatterjee) an Indian single mother who has recently immigrated to Sydney where she meets Will (Lee) a dude who makes her question everything she thought she knew about finding love. “Unindian” is the first feature produced from the Australia India Film Fund (AIFF) and is expected to commence production in Sydney next month.

Lee’s previous forays into the Indian entertainment industry include a role in the cricket-themed Bollywood film “Victory” and a chart topping duet with legendary singer Asha Bhosle.

That track was called “You’re The One For Me.”
