FAST AUTO TECHNIC (Fast), the sole dealer for Ferrari cars in Saudi Arabia, conducted test-drive sessions for a number of Ferrari models at one of the most luxurious hotels in Riyadh.

Fast invited a group of Ferrari car owners along with a group of dignitaries for a test-drive session. Two driving experts from Ferrari F1 team supervised the test-drive session in Jeddah as well as to transfer their driving skills and experiences to the participants.

Khalid El Abed, GM, Fast, said: “The test-drive sessions conducted in Riyadh were a success in terms of preparation and management and all other aspects. The supervision of the two Ferrari F1 experts had a considerable impact on the way the test-drive sessions ended in terms of high level of professionalism and safety, with the participants enjoying the full potentials of Ferrari cars.”

Various Ferrari models were allocated for the test-drive sessions, including Ferrari FF, Ferrari California, Ferrari Berlinetta F12 and Ferrari 458 Italy. Fast’s technical team lectured the participants about the technical and engineering features as well as the strong performance of Ferrari cars.

The Ferrari FF (Ferrari Four) has new-shaped seats. The car is 4WD and equipped with 6.3l V12 engine, which produces 660 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 335 km/h.

Ferrari California is one of the most successful models in the history of Ferrari. The car is equipped with 4.3l V8 engine that produces 483hp and torque of 504 n/m, and a 7-speed double clutch transmission system. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 310 km/h.

Ferrari Berlinetta F12 is a very attractive car, and equipped with an extraordinary powerful 6.3l V12 engine that produces 730 hp, and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds. The car, as well, is equipped with carbon-fiber wheels to enhance rigidity of the car as well as to reduce its weight.

Ferrari 458 Italy is a sporty car. The first two digits of its name stand for the capacity of the engine while the first digit stands for the number of the engine's cylinders, while the name is the successor to the name Modena Maranello, which reminds the geographic origin of the brand. It is a tribute to the Italian state as well.

The car is equipped with 4.5l V8 engine that produces 127 horsepower per liter, which is a high ratio for a normal engine. The engine, also, has a very high aerodynamics features to achieve high speeds.
