JEDDAH Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed, who also heads the Higher Committee of Jeddah Rally, chaired the first meeting of the rally in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Bander Al-Faisal, president of Saudi Arabian Motor Federation.

The meeting discussed the date for the rally's launch, which is scheduled for Jan. 30. The rally will continue for 3 days. The track's venue has also been determined.

The Higher Committee of Jeddah Rally includes the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, Jeddah Municipality, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiques in Makkah Region, Makkah branch of the Saudi Red Crescent, Jeddah Police Department, Jeddah Traffic Department and Civil Defense Administration in Jeddah.

Prince Mishaal directed the concerned parties to expedite the accomplishment of the required tasks to fulfill the goals of the rally given that Jeddah is the appropriate place for such important events.
