DUBAI: Organizers of Lady Gaga’s Middle East concert have promised a “cool” venue at Meydan Dubai, reports Gulf News. Promoters of the Sept. 10 event said recently that “an innovative cooling system” will ensure fans, or little monsters as they are called, will be provided with 100 units of industrial coolers to ensure the concert is comfortable.

“Competing against the heat of the UAE is always an issue when it comes to outdoor locations, which is why we are pleased to have the opportunity to manufacture a solution to cool different areas of the venue,” said Jonathan Calvert, general manager at Flow, the company supplying the coolers.

“With a large portion of our cooling fleet committed to this exclusive project, we look forward to enhancing the concert-goers’ encounter to be cooler than perceived.” Cool gusts will be propelled more than 20 meters into the air by jet diffusers, which will be located in select areas throughout Meydan Grandstand, said organizers.

“Audience will a comfortable and enjoyable time during the mega concert,” said an official, adding: “This will be Gaga’s first performance ever in the Gulf region.
