Riteish, Genelia name their son Riaan

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has revealed that he and his wife Genelia D’Souza have decided to name their newly-born son, Riaan.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, welcomed their first baby on Nov. 25.
“Our son ‘Riaan Riteish Deshmukh,” Riteish and Genelia posted on twitter.
The naming ceremony of the recently born happened Saturday.
Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta tweeted, “God bless Riaan.”
Sophie Choudhry also extended her wishes to the new parents and the baby, saying, “Beautiful name.. God bless! Can’t wait to meet him! Have a little something for him.”
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Riteish is taking a paternity leave. In the report, a source has been quoted as saying that Riteish has been by his wife's side ever since she was admitted to the hospital and was planning to resume shooting only after two weeks. The actor shared an image of their dog, Flash, waiting eagerly by the elevator and wrote, "FLASH is waiting for mommy @geneliad to come back home."
