Shraddha testing waters with new flick

To sulk and get put off seems to be ‘in’ these days.
Ready to blow a fuse is Shraddha Kapoor. She is angry with Vishal Bhardwaj. Why? The reason is Kangana Ranaut. Sources say that she was expecting Vishal to cast her once again in ‘Rangoon’. She expected it, especially after working with Vishal in last year’s critically acclaimed film ‘Haider’. However, that did not happen, and that got her ruffled, even though the ‘ABCD 2’ actress was basking in the glory of her latest release.
But when asked, Shraddha shrugged it off very politely. As per a leading portal she said, I love Kangana. I felt slightly bad about it but then later I thought it is better because Kangana will do a very good job.” Now that’s taking politeness too far. Moving on to praise Vishal Bhardwaj she said, “Also, Vishal sir takes the right people for the right character.”
Another catfight on the cards? Shraddha was unperturbed and said her hands are full as she’s currently busy with ‘Baaghi’ (opposite Tiger Shroff) and ‘Rock On 2’ (opposite Farhan Akhtar).
Plus the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actress seems to be keen to tread new ground. Yes, so far it was ‘damsel-in-distress’ type of roles, but now she wants to explore ‘grey’ characters. Not to forget, Shraddha has also shown us a new dimension — her dancing skills in her latest release ‘ABCD 2’.
Giving a hint recently at an event, she said, “I’ll just say that may be you’ll see me in that (a grey persona) sooner rather than later.”
It certainly looks like she has been influenced by her ‘ABCD2’ co-star and childhood buddy — Varun Dhawan who played a dark character in ‘Badlapur’ and impressed us all? It seems Shraddha is all set to do the same number!
The question is, in which of her two upcoming films will she play negative role — ‘Baaghi’ or ‘Rock On 2’? Well, it looks like we would indeed be pleasantly surprised!
