MUMBAI: For the past few months, there have been a lot of speculations about filmmaker Homi Adajania’s next film. Adajania has reportedly finished writing the script for his next movie, which calls for a unique cast and decided to put an end to those rumors and took to social media to unveil details about the same.

Adajania tweeted about his upcoming film saying, “Too much speculation & so…@irrfan_k & @itsSSR are in my next film. Neither of them are women last I checked. Still casting the female lead.”

So, after the Arjun Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Finding Fanny’, Homi is donning the director’s hat with a yet-to-be titled romantic drama featuring Irrfan Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead. The super-talented Irrfan Khan plays a rockstar in the film. “Irrfan met Homi recently and liked the script. Sushant will be seen as Irrfan’s protégé in the film,” informs a source close to the unit.

The female lead is yet to be cast. Buzz is, talks are on with both Kangana Ranaut and Parineeti Chopra. Rumors had it that Homi had initially roped in Kangana who due to other film commitments had to let go off the film.

“Homi has narrated the script to Kangana and she is keen to work with him, but she is already committed to Hansal Mehta’s film after her much awaited flick ‘Rangoon’ and the dates are clashing. But they have promised to work with each other in the future.”

Now, buzz is that Parineeti has been roped in and undoubtedly, Irrfan-Parineeti-Sushant trio will look great together! Looks like, director Adajania is all set to spin a magical tale with the three onscreen favorites.
