LONDON: Britain’s Prince William is reportedly hoping to have Taylor Swift perform at his wife’s birthday party, reported an English daily.

The Duchess of Cambridge will be celebrating her 32nd birthday on Jan. 9 next year.

William, 31, met the Red singer during a charity event at Kensington Palace last month which he hosted for his youth homeless charity Centerpoint.

After the pair sang a rendition of ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ with rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, the second-in-line to the throne is said to have spoken to Taylor about his wife’s secret party.

“William’s been trying to get Kate’s surprise sorted for 9 January when she turns 32,” a source told British magazine Closer.
