Some B-town stars are basking in the limelight. And some have disappeared. Like the ‘Kidnap’ star.

In fact, the ‘Delhi Belly’ star has largely stayed away from the arch light for almost two years. “I will not sign movies till my baby arrives,” the fresh mint-eyed actor Imran Khan had said, and he lived up to his promise.

There were several reasons bandied about in the media. And speculations were rife about his mystery ‘sabbatical’. Some said he wanted to see his daughter Imara growing up; some hazarded a guess that his tussle with Ekta Kapoor during the release of ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai doobara’ left him jobless! Some thought that he had withdrawn deeper into his shell, after his last three releases bombed.

Now, wonder of wonders, Imran Khan is out of his mystery phase. Moreover, he is ecstatic about the shoot of his new film ‘Katti Batti’ starring none another than the Queen of B-town — Kangana Ranaut. What’s more, this is the first time that the curly-haired beauty has teamed up with Imran. Clearly, this is reason enough why everyone is super-excited about this flick.

Unfortunately, ‘Katti Batti’ has hit a roadblock. The shooting of the film has been postponed as Kangana has to wrap up her upcoming project — ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. Hope ‘KB’ shoot rolls out soon! It’s high time we get to see Imran Khan on the silver screen.

Just when Imran Khan’s career hit the rock, producer foe-turned-friend Ekta Kapoor and director Tigmanshu Dhulia came forward to offer him ‘Milan Talkies’. Check the action-packed history associated with this much-awaited movie about film piracy, which got inordinately delayed. It was to be originally made with Prateik Babbar in the lead, and then passed on to Saif Ali Khan. When last heard, we gather it had gone to Karan Johar’s students — Siddharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan. The film has now been re-titled as ‘Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyaar Ka’.

When Bollywood Hungama asked Dhulia on signing Imran Khan, he said, “Every actor goes through ups and downs. It would be downright myopic to say a few failures have wiped out Imran’s career. He is a very talented actor. I am sure the film will bring him back into the reckoning in a big way.”

Now, wait and watch to witness whether the Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran proves to be as lucky for this long-delayed project, as the project would hopefully prove for Imran. Whatever the reason, all these developments are for sure, taking the actor on a new ‘high’.

Currently, above all, his daughter Imara is the apple of his eye! And, he has no regrets of not being on the shoot-mode for the last few months. Frankly, he gets to spend quality time with his baby girl. As mentioned, Imran who was currently shooting for Nikhil Advani’s ‘Katti Batti’, finds his daughter a stress buster.

Very much in love, Imran got his baby Imara’s footprints tattooed on his body. Though this happens to be his third tattoo, the actor said that he wanted to flaunt a tattoo that he could cherish forever. The rumor mills report that he got the idea of getting his kid’s footprints tattooed, after seeing his mother who had etched his footprints on a piece of paper, that she had treasured for years on end.

Surely, he’s inked a golden moment that he will treasure for life!
