MUMBAI: Aamir Khan will be seen as a wrestler in his upcoming biopic ‘Dangal’. But speculations suggest, he has signed another film much before the release of that film.
Aamir, who weighed over 95 kilos for ‘Dangal’, returned to India from Arizona weighing 82 kilos. He managed to shed those 12 kilos and worked on getting his well chiseled body back.
But why did he train hard to get back into a toned body? Is that ripped muscle for Mr. Perfectionist’s next film?
As per reports, the PK actor will be seen next in his ex-manager Advait Chandan’s film who was earlier the first assistant on Kiran Rao’s ‘Dhobi Ghat’. Now, Advait takes care of Aamir’s work for the past five years and shares a great working rapport with the actor. He is all set to make his directorial debut named ‘Secret Superstar’ which was earlier titled ‘Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai’.
Buzz is that ‘Secret Superstar’ is to be a musical drama and Aamir is all set to be seen as a music composer in the movie. The film will be originally composed by National Award winning music director Amit Trivedi. Interesting, right?
Reportedly, the story plot is about an adolescent girl who aspires to be a singer. And the team wants to cast a fresh face, who can also sing as well because the film will require her to be comfortable while she lip-syncs.
The cast has not yet been completed, and rumor has it, the casting director of the film is busy in auditioning the rest of the cast that includes a mother and a child. The film is all set to go on floors in Vadodra next month.
