The Indian Consulate General in Jeddah will hold an Open House at its premises today, giving an opportunity for community members to express their grievances, said Dr. Irshad Ahmad, consul for press, information and culture.
“The consulates attaches high priority to the welfare of the Indian expatriate community residing under its jurisdiction,” he said while stressing the forum’s importance.
Ahmad said the Open House aims to establish a direct and one-to-one interaction between the consul general and his assistants on the one hand and community leaders on the other.
The forum will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. “The Open House offers an opportunity for members of the community to directly meet the consul general and other consuls to discuss their grievances and issues,” Ahmad said, welcoming all the members of the Indian community.
