The plight of the Indian driver, Shaikh Shafi, published on May 20 in Arab News is one of many such cases. The attitude and behavior of a few persons spoil the name of the country and Muslims as a whole. Islam teaches love and affection. Apparently such people forget Allah’s commandments and Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) teachings.

The Indian Foreign Ministry should look into this case and take appropriate action against the concerned staff for not doing anything for this driver. — M. Maqsood Hussain, Alkhobar
