Whatever is happening in India should not surprise anybody, as it was expected since the day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) assumed power. They know only one policy that they have inherited from their colonial masters: Divide and rule. That is exactly what the party is doing. Development in India should not come at the expense of its secular credentials. It is very strange that the strongman, Narendra Modi, appears to be very reluctant in controlling these zealots.

The silly Cabinet members and other BJP leaders are trying to push India back to the Stone Age. The BJP and its likes are basically Taleban of India. They have striking similarities.
