First of all, I would like to congratulate the XII and X students of the CBSE board for getting such good results. They really worked hard and made us proud. And at International Indian School, Riyadh, I think they deserve a little more appreciation for their hard work despite the fact the school’s conditions were pathetic.

I wish before shifting the Girl’s Section to a new location, they should have at least evaluated the size of the new building and the number of students we have in our school.

Classes are just crammed, especially the XI and XII section where we have as many as 45 students sitting in one room with absolutely no place to move. On top of it, we have centralized AC that does not work during summers. The transport system of the IISR is the icing on cake. A coaster, which is meant for maximum 28 people, is filled with 45-50 people and the officials will tell you that rather proudly.

Even in the bus, the AC does not work, and students are transported like herds of cattle. The state of the canteen is pitiable. We get cold food and hot water and they don’t have enough supplies.

I will call on the authorities to look into the miserable conditions of the school and take necessary measures to solve the problems. — A student, Riyadh
