This refers to the news, “OIC condemns Israeli desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque,” (July 17)

OIC has rightly condemned the Israel’s act of provocation and blatant violation of relevant international resolutions and instruments while allowing groups of extremist settlers under the protection of the occupation forces and assaulting and desecrating the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This is nothing but another act of this state-sponsored terror and oppression, which provokes Palestinians to use all means at their disposal to fight, and which the international community lately recognizes as Palestinians’ legitimate rights to fight.

As in case of Yemen, the Middle Eastern countries, this time Iran included, need to evolve a common strategy to fight for the rights of Palestinians to live in their country peaceably alongside the state of Israel.

For the first time we have seen the Arab countries taking an aggressive stance in matter of security in the region and also positive signs from the international community more so from the European countries in relation to Israel’s criminal slants against the Palestinians.

This is the time when we can build up global opinion against the horrible state of Israel and corner it politically, diplomatically and if the need arises, militarily.
