A criminal court in Riyadh sentenced 18 terror suspects Thursday to varying prison terms and issued travel bans against them. The non-Saudi convicts face deportation.

The suspects were convicted of various charges that include forming a cell that killed innocent people, conspiring to blow up properties, assisting in making car bombs, practicing forgery and following subversive ideology.

The first defendant was sentenced to 25 years in prison for forging documents and impersonating security personnel. The second defendant was sentenced to 10 years in prison, the third to 22 years in prison and the fourth 13 years, after which he must be deported.

The fifth defendant received a 20-year sentence, the sixth 23 years, the seventh 14 years, the eighth eight years, the ninth seven years and the 10th six years.
