JEDDAH: A video showing a woman being harassed by two young men in Taif has prompted the police to order a probe, local media reported on Saturday.

The video clip, which was put on social media and evoked angry reactions from citizens, is being investigated and action will be taken in the case, Col. Atti Al-Qurashi of Makkah police was quoted as saying.

The incident comes close on the heels of a case involving harassment of two girls at the Jeddah corniche recently.

The video on the Taif incident showed a young man trying to touch the woman while she was leaving a mall.
