The Anti-Alcohol Unit at the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Al Haia) has arrested four Asians in a raid conducted on an apartment in the down-town area of the capital. The apartment was being used to manufacture locally-made wine.

Contained in the apartment were five large barrels of wine, totalling seven gallons and 11,355 liters, all of which were seized by the authorities.

The special Anti-Alcohol unit, created by the current chief of Haia, Sheikh Dr. Abdullateef bin Abdulaziz Al-Asheikh, focuses its efforts on fighting locally made wine, and destroying all seized quantities for the benefit of society.
