Those who are seeking reading material on the culture of dialogue can use smart phone applications for free download of 92 publications brought out by the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue, according to KACND Chairman Abdullah Al-Mutlaq.

KACND seeks to promote the culture of dialogue among young people, intellectuals, researchers and scholars, both in the Kingdom and elsewhere in the Arab world, using technology as the medium. This will facilitate their access to the culture of dialogue through various sources of information, including the library.

The new service was inaugurated on Wednesday by the KACND head in the presence of Faisal Al-Muammar, deputy chairman of and secretary general of the center, and Fahd Al-Sultan, deputy secretary general.

Thanks to the facility, smart phone users can download versions of the King Abdul Aziz Library for National Dialogue through electronic stores for mobile phones (Apple App Store, Google Play) that run the application on a regular IOS and Android devices.

Al-Mutlaq said that such service aims to facilitate the search for users and researchers on the contents of the library, and provide access to the latest publications in this field.

The application is provided with many features such as sharing texts and books, and share via social media, as well as through SMS messages and e-mail. It also gives an option to evaluate the books and public search for titles and authors’ favorite, and the creation of each user as divided into parts so that the users can organize their favorite items according to their choice.
