As a young boy, Yazan, lies sedated in Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital in Buraidah, his desperate father makes appeals to King Salman, Crown Prince Muqrin, and the health minister to help him save the life of his son, who suffers from heart deformities, a life threatening condition.

Hospitals in Buraidah and the rest of the Kingdom refused to treat his son claiming they don’t have specialized doctors to take care of his illness. Al-Harbi, the father, sent the medical files to King Fahd medical city in Riyadh but also received a negative answer.

He is awaiting replies from other hospitals as well, but as time goes on, his son’s condition worsens.

“My son’s situation is very critical and the doctors say his case can’t handle any delays,” he said.

Desperate to help his child, the father called the Health Ministry on Friday but he claimed he has not received an answer yet.

Al-Harbi pleaded to all relevant authorities to help his son receive the treatment he needs in the Kingdom or help him travel abroad so he can access specialists who can help.
