JEDDAH: The man accused of killing Col. Nasir Osman, a staff officer at Qassim Intelligence, has confessed to his murder.
He admitted that he, in cooperation with another defendant, slaughtered Col. Nasir and decapitated him in his resthouse in Qassim.
Col. Nasir was found dead in 2007 at his farm in Buraidah where he had been killed by two men, one of them his nephew.
The security authorities managed to arrest the killers and send them for sentencing to the courts.
He also admitted the accuracy of charges leveled against him by the prosecutor. The evidence against him was the possession of weapons and tapes sent from abroad by a man who had praised the explosions which took place in Riyadh.
The charges also included disrespect and disloyalty to the ruler, adoption of the takfiri ideology that is contrary to the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah, attempting to carry out terrorist acts in the Kingdom through money collection and recruitment of persons, and belonging to Al-Qaeda in Iraq.
