More than 5,000 people walked through the Ibrahim Archaeological Palace to attend the Al-Ahsa Productive Families exhibition hosted by Fatat Al-Ahsa Charitable Society. Gulf delegations, Saudi actors, and some government officials also attended the forum, that included different training programs and workshops dealing with issues like health and education.

Yusuf Bin Saleh Al-Khamis, Al-Ahsa Youth Welfare director, expressed his satisfaction with this year’s turn out, as well as the workshops that have been developed year after year.

Jafar Gharib and Abdul Baqi Al-Bakhit, artists, praised the exhibition’s organization and diversity, which enabled families to market their products.

Muhammad Salem, a visitor, highlighted the fact that these exhibition gets families working together. “I was so pleased to see children help their families to market their products, and hope that these artisan and industrial families have an allocated site in Al-Ahsa.”

Another visitor from Dammam said that this year’s exhibition was extremely different, praising its unique organization and cleanliness level.

Hala, an Egyptian visitor, stressed the high quality of this year’s products. “I spent a long time in the exhibition, during which I observed several trades and production lines besides the industry quality,” she said.

Many observers also praised the idea of presenting hand-made awards at the ceremony, calling the government and private agencies to support families in the manufacturing business to increase their production lines and market those awards.

The exhibition will continue its activities till Thursday, to receive visitors including students trips and families.
