The National Committee of Trade at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) has elected Sulaiman Al-Ayeeri as its chairman for the new fiscal year.

Saad Al-Suwaliem and Shannan Al-Zahrani were picked as vice chairmen at a meeting of the committee.

The newly elected members thanked their peers for the trust bestowed on them, promising to dedicate their time and efforts in further enhancing the committee’s contribution to the national economy.

Al-Ayeeri commended the CSC for its continued support to national committees, adding that the trade committee will intensify its efforts in the coming months and meet with government officials dealing with the trade sector to address vital issues and challenges facing the investors such as the delay of shipments at ports.

He stressed that it is the committee’s duty to convey the investors’ voice to bodies of concern in the Kingdom.
