The traffic department in Taif announced that Al-Huda-Makkah road will be closed starting this coming Sunday for the duration of four months. 

The decision to close the street for maintenance works comes in line with building a fortified cement wall to prevent rocks and stones from falling, as well as cleaning the sewage streams in Jabal al Kara. 

The spokesman also revealed that road will be open at six o’clock every Wednesday and subsequently closed at the same hour on Saturday morning, for the entire duration of the maintenance work. 

“Traffic officers, as well as road and transportation employees and the implementing company staff will be making inspection tours and surveys to ensure its safety well before opening it for traffic ,” the spokesman added.
