RIYADH: The Departments of Education and Traffic in Al-Jouf region have approved the new traffic plan during students’ examinations based on the directive of Gov. Prince Fahad bin Badr.
Prince Fahad bin Badr said the new traffic plan was prepared to ensure the convenience and safety of students during the examination period.
The plan includes the presence of alternate teachers while students are leaving their rooms after taking their tests, according to a Department of Education official.
A meeting on the new traffic plan was attended by officials of the departments of education and traffic, information technology representatives and others involved in the implementation.
Major General Abdullah Al-Zahrani, director of the Directorate of Traffic in Al-Jouf, said that the new traffic plan is with the participation of all public security branches in the region.
“It’s implementation is not only by the departments of education and traffic, but also by regional public security officers to ensure convenience and safety for students,” he said.
The implementation of the new traffic plan is under the supervision of Maj. General Al-Zahrani and Maj. Gen. Qahat Al-Qahat, regional police chiefs, who expressed hope for the success of the new traffic plan implementation.
