RIYADH: The Cabinet on Monday announced several decisions including approving the final financial statements of the Saudi Red Crescent Society for 2014 and 2015; and an agreement between the Saudi and Jordanian governments on the management and investment of groundwater in Tabghat Al-Sag and Al-Disi, which was signed in Riyadh last year.

The Cabinet authorized the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to discuss with Egypt a memorandum of understanding on cooperation; and the Ministry of Labor to seek a cooperative agreement with Russia’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

The Cabinet further approved the appointment of Ali bin Osman Al-Rukban as a member of the board of directors of the Public Transport Authority representing the private sector.

It also authorized the Ministry of Housing to discuss a cooperation pact with Turkey. The ministers were also briefed on a proposal presented by the minister of health on a national program to boost protection of workers in medical facilities.
