Thirteen government-registered charities are holding an exhibition here to highlight their work with vulnerable members of society and to encourage people to donate.

Riyadh Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah attended the event this week, which is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The exhibition is entitled “Goodness Brings Us Together,” organized by the Health Care for Patients Charity. The aim is to encourage people to donate through credible organizations and prevent fraud, according to the organizing committee.

The charities include those helping cancer sufferers, women with breast cancer and needy families.
