The Indian School Parents Forum (ISPAF) organized a storytelling competition at Ryan Polyclinic Auditorium here recently.

“The participants narrated their stories beautifully and the program was a huge success,” said Abdul Aziz Thankayathil, former ISPAF secretary, senior IT executive, and one of the event organizers.

“The confidence that the young students exuded was impressive,” he added.

Amika Sameer, Nabiya Shamreen and Riza Ariyadan won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Toastmasters, Ramesh Menon and Basheer Ambalavan, were the judges, while Usman Pattambi, Sameer Malappuram and Feroz coordinated the program.

“ISPAF is planning to conduct more educational and edutainment events in the coming weeks,” said Nasar Chavakkad, the organization’s general secretary.

He requested parents to register their names with the ISPAF to strengthen the organization and benefit from its informative and educational programs.

About 24 children participated in the event.
