RIYADH: Citizens from all walks of life came together in denouncing terror, and hailed the Saudi security forces for breaking up a cluster of cells formed by Daesh in the Kingdom to launch create bloodshed and mayhem.

The Interior Ministry on Saturday announced the dismantling of the cells and arrests of 431 terror suspects, including those propagating deviant ideology through the Internet, in an operation extending over weeks and thwarting terror strike against Saudi Arabia.

Saud M.w Al-Suwaileh, former manager of US-Saudi Business Council in Riyadh, said the busting of the cells will certainly boost the feelings of security among citizens and stop the deviant designs of Daesh in the Kingdom.

“The ministry has made an apt and well-timed disclosure about the dismantling of the cells linked to Daesh, which has claimed responsibility for deadly attacks on mosques in the Eastern Province and Kuwait, as well as attacks on security men in Riyadh. Detention of anti-social elements will promote peace and prosperity in the Kingdom,” he said.

“The youth must shun violence and join the ongoing rapid economic development under the visionary leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, which will herald a new age of prosperity for us,” Al-Suwaileh, who is an economic specialist, said.

Abdullah Inayat, a fresh university graduate currently working as a manager with a public relations company, said, “We, the Saudi youth, must shoulder the responsibility of taking our beloved country to a new era of peace and prosperity.”

Those joining violence are actually misguided people and helping the enemies of the country and our religion, he added.

Mohammed Zeyad, a student pursuing the bachelor’s degree in the capital, also praised the security forces for the major breakthrough. “The breaking up of the cluster cells are encouraging for peace loving Saudis. The perpetrators of heinous crimes must pay the price for evil designs,” he said.
