JEDDAH: A traffic policeman drove a man in his eighties 150 km to his home in Buraidah after find him driving erratically on the Madinah-Qassim highway. The cop told a local daily on Thursday that when he stopped the man on the highway near Al-Nabhaniya, he discovered that he was suffering from poor vision. The officer, a colonel at the Qassim Traffic Department, took the initiative to drive the car himself. When he arrived at the man’s house he warned his sons that it was dangerous for their father to drive. However, the sons said that they had hired a driver but that the father had taken the car when they were not looking.
