NEW YORK: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif met French President François Hollande on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom and France, and ways of enhancing them in all fields, particularly with regard to the joint cooperation in combating extremism and fighting terrorism.

Also latest developments in the Middle East region and efforts being exerted toward a number of international issues and the position of each country toward them were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdullah bin Faisal bin Turki, Saudi ambassador to the U.S., and the Crown Prince's accompanying delegation.
