The 84th Saudi National Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervor at the Dauha Al Uloom International School, Jeddah. The ambience of the school represented the true spirit of nationalism. Students and staff were dressed in green and white, the colors of the day.

Mohammed Saeed Hussain Al Jaraan, director of the school, opened the event while Principal Dr. Mohd. Ausaf Khan delivered the welcome speech. The programs at the girls’ section were presided over by the girls’ section in-charge Anees Fathima.

A variety of cultural programs were presented by the talented and budding students of the school under the able supervision of Riyas Babu and other teachers. The students spoke eloquently about the rich history, culture, and tradition of Saudi Arabia.

“The decoration of the entire school by the art teacher Sonia Shahid was indeed a visual treat for everyone,” said the principal. “It was a day of joy and camaraderie at Dauha Al Uloom and all the programs were remarkable and enlightening,” Khan said, adding that the programs highlighted the Kingdom’s rich culture and traditions.
