A total of 1,826 Filipinos benefited from the consular services rendered by the Philippine mission’s Embassy on Wheels (EOW) in Alkhobar recently.

Consul General Marshall Louis Alferez, who headed the team, appreciated the Filipino community for its support, assistance and cooperation during the two-day program.

“This was the last EOW for 2014 and the embassy hopes to increase the frequency of consular outreach missions this year to serve more Overseas Filipino Workers,” he said.

During the mission, the EOW team processed 464 e-Passport applications, six lost e-Passport applications, 195 notarial services, 26 birth registrations, 12 passport extensions and released 1,123 e-Passports.

As part of the embassy’s program to improve customer service, the EOW team conducted a client feedback survey among 400 Filipinos, of which 162 responded. Among them, 58 percent voted that the services were excellent; 25 voted that they were satisfactory and 13 were neutral.
