The Philippine Embassy rendered consular services to 1,222 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the Al-Jazeera International School in Dammam in the Eastern Province (EP) on Aug. 8 and 9, according to Ambassador Ezzedin H. Tago.

“On behalf of the Embassy on Wheels (EOW) team headed by Vice Consul Redentor Genotiva, I thank the Filipino community in the Eastern Prince for extending assistance during the two-day mission last week,” he said.

He said that the EOW team was able to process 484 passport applications, 239 notarial services, 16 birth registrations, 48 passport extensions, and 435 new passports.

He added that as part of the program to improve customer service, the EOW team conducted a client feedback survey among 500 OFWs, of which 37 percent responded.

He noted that the survey showed a 50-percent rating for courtesy, 40 percent for promptness, 48 percent for knowledge and ability, 40 percent for comfort, 30 percent for cleanliness and 40 percent for sufficiency.

The next consular outreach mission will be held on Aug. 22 and 23 in Alkhobar.
